Baseball Tournament Refund & Cancellation Policy
By registering for this tournament, the coach and their team and/or organization agrees to the following terms: If a team cancels or drops out of the tournament on their own terms and does not secure a replacement team that agrees to pay the full entry fee, zero percent (0%) of the entry fee will be refunded. Replacement teams must be approved by the tournament director and must pay the full entry fee prior to acceptance.
In the event the tournament is canceled due to weather or field conditions, the following refund structure will apply: If zero games are played, eighty-five percent (85%) of the entry fee will be refunded. If one game is played, fifty percent (50%) of the entry fee will be refunded. If two or more games are played, zero percent (0%) of the entry fee will be refunded. The tournament organizer reserves the right to adjust schedules, game formats, or locations due to weather or field conditions without issuing additional refunds.
No refund will be given to any team that is disqualified due to rule violations, misconduct, or failure to comply with tournament policies.
By registering for this tournament, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the refund and cancellation policy outlined above. I understand that this agreement is binding and enforceable under applicable laws.
Terms and Conditions & Liability Waiver Statement
Applicable To: All participants, parents/guardians, coaches, volunteers, officials, and attendees of the Red Hawk Rumble Baseball Tournament.
1. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By registering for or participating in the Red Hawk Rumble Baseball Tournament (“Tournament”), all participants and their parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with baseball and related athletic activities. These risks include, but are not limited to, physical injury, property damage, illness (including communicable diseases), and other unforeseen incidents.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Tournament, the undersigned voluntarily assumes all risks and agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless the following entities and individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant or any property belonging to the participant:

Village of Cass City
Cass City High School Baseball Program
Village of Kingston
Kingston Public Schools
Village of Gagetown
Cass City Area Summer Athletic Programs
Tournament Director
Event Staff and Volunteers
Umpires
Owners, lessees, or operators of any tournament grounds or facilities
This release applies to all tournament venues, including fields, parking areas, and any location where tournament-related activities occur.
2. Scope of Release
This waiver and release of liability applies to injuries or damages resulting solely from the inherent risks of participation in baseball and related activities. It does not release any party from liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or reckless behavior.
3. Medical Authorization
The undersigned grants permission to the Tournament Director or authorized personnel to seek emergency medical treatment for the participant if deemed necessary. The undersigned agrees to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
4. Compliance and Conduct
All participants, coaches, and attendees agree to comply with tournament rules, policies, and local ordinances. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the tournament without refund.
5. Media Release
By participating, the undersigned grants permission for the use of photographs, videos, and other media taken during the Tournament for promotional and marketing purposes by the Tournament organizers and affiliated entities.
6. Michigan Law Compliance
This waiver is compliant with MCL 700.5109, which permits a parent or guardian to release liability on behalf of a minor for injuries resulting from inherent risks in recreational activities organized by nonprofit entities. 7. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By registering for this tournament the individual affirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver and release.
