Welcome to the Red Hawk Rumble Baseball Tournament website, a premier youth baseball event held in the heart of Michigan’s Thumb region. Founded in 2024, this tournament was created to support the Fundraising efforts of the Cass City High School Baseball Program and to showcase the incredible progress made over decades of hard work and dedication by the Cass City Area Summer Athletic Program (CCASAP) and the Village of Cass City in developing our local sports complex and facilities.

Built on the successful format of CCASAP's Fun In The Thumb Rec All-Star Tournament, the Red Hawk Rumble brings a competitive edge to Cass City by hosting A-AA level travel teams while also providing a local platform for the Michigan Firehawks Organization, established in 2023.

In its inaugural year, the tournament welcomed 24 teams across age divisions 8U–13U, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Cass City High School Baseball Program, the CCASAP Board, and the Village of Cass City.

In 2025, the Red Hawk Rumble expanded to host over 80 teams across age divisions 8U–15U, marking a major milestone in its growth. To accommodate the increased participation and provide a regulation-size 60'x90' field for older age divisions, Kingston High School was added as a satellite location—further strengthening regional collaboration and showcasing the Thumb area's commitment to youth sports.

The tournament is built on a family-friendly, carnival-like atmosphere, featuring food trucks, games under the lights, and more. Our goal is to create a top-level tournament experience that highlights our premier fields and athletic complexes, while offering fun and excitement for all ages.

All proceeds go directly back into the Cass City High School Baseball Program and CCASAP, with a primary focus on facility and complex upgrades—ensuring continued growth and excellence for future generations of athletes.
